    On the cold side it's .80, not sure about the hot side if it really helps I can try to find it but it's buried deep in the bay!

    No air flow meter I'm just using a map sensor.

    There you go, you can make out the intake pipe on the left wrapped in heat wrap. Nothing standard in there, literally a big filter in a box taking air in through the wing and into the turbo.

    Hi, right basically I seem to be having trouble getting more power from my VRT. It's just been remapped today and it now has 332bhp at 18psi I was hoping to get more than that but it appears that as the boost is turned up the power seems to go down. Im still running a dizzy and have been struggling with a misfire at higher boost at high revs but making the gap smaller on the plugs seems to sort it.(planning to convert to coilpack ASAP) The spec is Obd1 2.8 K&n air filter 3" stainless pipe into 4" turbo inlet Gt3076r Cast spa turbo manifold 2.5" intercooler pipe work Modified rx7 alloy in

    Light cars and 4wd rule, same power with 2wd i was about a second and a half slower. If I could get my starts right I would probably be nearer getting into the 11's aswell! What bhp is yours running? Bet your well happy with that time.

    Mk1 caddy 2.8 vr6, gt3076r turbo, Omex management, 0.9 bar of boost, 4wd with 4 motion 6spd box, Haldex rear diff and Exclusive tunning Haldex controller. Running 310bhp but only just fitted the 4wd this last winter so still not up to full potential, going for a remap soon so time to turn the boost up!

    Aha got it working now, 5th for me in the 4wd class. Well happy with that for now!

    Nope still no luck, I can only get Sundays 0-60 times and all runs?

    No i havent got any software, i would imagine i could download it easy enough but i still dont have a cable! :^) Ive ordered a new hall sender and if that doesn't sort it then i will have to take it to the man in the know and get him to plug it in.

    Yes it still does it with the cap off, ive had a gauge running into the fuel rail and it stays at 4bar maybe goes up a little as its die'ing.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Right im having major headache problems with the Cadddy VRT now and i need some help. Its a 1993 2.8 vr engine (OBD1 i pressume) so uses a distributor and Omex standalone management. So the story goes, when it was remapped a couple of weeks ago we got it running spot on and now it goes like f**k but we did struggle with a misfire on the day but that turned out to be the ht leads so i had an old set and we fitted them for the mapping session.     Its ok i wasnt running that much boost so it should be ok! Ordered a gasket from VW yesterday using the part number in the above post (which incidently i found in another thread) and picked it up today and its the right one, wahay:) so all sorted again now cheers.

    Well the story is yes its got a spacer fitted already and been running for the last 6 months or so but ive only had a thin spacer in with 2 standard gaskets either side but 1 of them has gone and im getting excess pressure in the header tank! So ive now bought a 8.5.1 c2 headspacer and they said use a sharan gasket but ive no idea which one as vw said the ones listed for the AAA engine are fibre! So yeah its been running at 298bhp but now i want more so fitting the thicker spacer. Is this the vw sharan part no i need 021 103 383 N ?

    Right guys first post and a question im afraid. I need to find out for definate which 3 piece metal head gasket i need for the AAA 1993 2.8 12v vr6 obd1 to use with a spacer plate! Ive heard its a sharan/transporter now is that v6 or vr6 i asked at my local VW spot and they tried to help but really i dont think they had a clue what i was on about. Im sure its been asked many of times but somene please help with the exact vehicle or better still a part number. Thanks in advance:)
