    Original lights have the refractive lines in them, are these a legal necessity, or can they be replaced with clear lenses? once again, cheers guys!

    cheers for all your help guys, did it yesterday with my housemate... bigger job than i thought! all back together now, and just waiting for payday for the fluid! like 20JahreGTI said, 6 bolts, drop the subframe, pull it towards the back, fiddly, but easy enough!

    Whoop rack arrived today, all looks pretty good, any thoughts on method though please guys? Anything would really be greatly appreciated!

    Ok, here goes, I must of done something daft somewhere, but for the life of me can't figure out what, as my steering rack outer casing has broken, snapped clean in half... :S I've ordered a second hand rack from fleabay, from what appears to be a pretty highly rated seller, (I know, not ideal, but double skint atm!) However, I'm not sure what the best (quickest) way of swapping these over would be, drop the subframe maybe? anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions and/or hints or tips, this is my first steering rack on any car... so even if it sounds obvious, please tell me!     honestly mate, the only other car ive been in with coilies is a corolla ae86, which still has the old TRD ones on, and are in dire need of replacement! but the APs seem pretty alright for day to day stuff!

    Hi guys, lifes been a bit busy, but now uni is finished, i can start concentrating on the car again - whoop! The parts mentioned above are all fitted, although the Borbet T's ive had for a while require some arch work before i can fit them back on - its easier to swap wheels than suspension! So here's a list of all thats fitted: BMC CDA Jetex catback AP coilies Carbon Vinyl on badge and mirrors hella black magic rear lamps eurowagens deep front splitter. I still have headlights to fit, but they'll be on soon in the post are black diamond discs and pads all round (cheers to my older bro for t
