it is an obd1 have to check the lamda do they work ok on decats

teres no leaks just the smell from the exhaust ans bit smokey on start up

lately my vr seems to be over fuelling even when your in traffic i can get a bad smell of petrol and on start up in the morning it does stink of petrol and i only seem to get about 22 mpg on the moter way thats down from 29 mpg on the same run i recentlyhad a decat and stainles exhaust fitted would this have anything to do with it?

have to say after getting a decat and stainless system the difference is very noticible pulls alot quicker feels like teres more power lower down the revs the exhaust sounds awesume especially when ye drop down and give it a bit cant wait to fit the 6 branch should get a nice engine note from it

thanks for all the replies think il go back to the garage that done my exhaust im not going to start on that out sde the only to find out something doesnt fit at least they can cut and weld if they have to!

te my 6 branch has 2 holes but the cat has 3 how did toy get around this ?

right got a decat fitted today and a long life exhaust from the decat back have a small silencer fitted and the back box is fairly small aswell not to loud but when i let of the power i can hear a small back fire. what causes this also the system was made with 2" pipe is the backfire caused from lack of back pressure

some one told me im missing awasher after the bump stop before the top plate this make any sense ?

what way should they be asembled is it spring bump stop top plate then first retaing nut then fit it up in to the rubber peice then put the top plate over and lock the last nut in place is this the right order

fitted jamex coilovers yesterday was out for a spin tonight hit a pothole on the way back home and thr fukin coilover came up through the mount by about 3" any one know what i might have done wrong ?

does anyone know if a 205/40 in 17s are ok with clearance on a vr

well got that sorted. Now for the wheels!! i baughrt a second hand set of 17s off set 35 now the tyres are 215 45 so the car wont move now i think there rubbing off the coilovers will 205 40 be ok 1n 17s will tere be any rubbing issues?

what a muppit i am ye the fukin splitter is about a half inch off the groungd and the car wouldnt even move forward thanks alot lol

i fitted jamex coilovers on the vr toaday the problem i have is its too low and the wheels are badly rubbing . what way do coilovers work do i wind them up of down to raise the car because i have them down to the point were the springs are loose when the wheel is off the back is fine any ideas whats wrong?
