The head was taken as part of a deal of converting a wiring loom so didn't cost me a penny. Without trying to sound stupid what needs modifying?

i got the r32 head for a steal hence why im using it

hi guys im going to be using this page as an advice/build thread for a turbo build for my jetta coupe the car in question as you can see i've already converted it to 24v i've decided on a power goal of 400bhp, i want the thing to still be useable for going to the shops etc the current spec of what i want/have is 2.8 bde lump with only 60k (have) mk5 r32 cylinder head with mk4 cams and chains etc (have) 1mm head spacer q7 big end bearings arp rod bolts modified timing chain tensioner? eurowise shallow sump mk5 r32 oil pump yes i know my list is missing vitals like turbo etc

So Rubbadubz is six years old so its time for us to all meet up and celerebrate. Yes i know celerbrating the fact that the club is 6 years old is a bit odd, but we were all so busy last year we forgot to celerbrate our 5th birthday lol. As per usual all our friends and fellow dubbers (old skool to new wave, air cooled to water cooled) If the weather is good then hopefully we will get the BBQ fired up! if anything dbw throttles are over responsive, in the wet in my mk2 it feels like a on off switch

hi does anyone know if the 2.8 24v bde big end and mains bearings are the same? also out of interest is the crank the same?

hi guys im planning on having a custom inlet pipe for my 2.8 24v bde engine running oem management but i need to know what this sensor is for and can it be deleted or does any know where i can get a boss to mount it on from pic of sensor

cheers bud wasnt planning on doing anything today as im waiting on parts, but a tyre turned up that i had wone on ebay for my new alloys, so i went and fitted it to a wheel and trial fitted it to the car i think it will look nuts with a full set of these on, just need bigger brakes :-D
