    Thinking that i want some different shoes for the VR and wondering what i want... Still going to keep the Cups... but want to have two sets... so these will be my daily road ones so not looking for anything too bling My problem with the cups is the offset and the spacers... so looking for something to fit better under the arch.. so looking for ideas... thought about 17" RS4 sytle

    its very nice... The engine used to be in a mark 2 golf and run low 12's he is looking to do the same in the Jetta coupe and then get quicker

    i'm back in. I've apologised that I wont be able to go to his 40th as money is tight. whereas camping will only cost me an extra £4 - a bottle of redbull and half a bottle of vodka. Its not until i started posting that i realised how many...' date=',,, I still have a few left... you are a bad man... i'm thinking of doing something with the wheels on the VR as they need something doing.... a refurb or maybe change... we shall see... i'm meant to be saving money and spending it on the split screen [/b']

    Yes...thats my pride and joy 1965 21 Window Sliding Door Samba... Fitted with a 2.4 Motor.. runs the 1/4 mile in 16's... best time is 16.3 And have raced it in the VWDRC for a few years now... Taken it off the road for the moment... as i want to make it go faster

    We still have a T3.. Westfalia Club Joker.. 2.1... which is great... cooker' date=' fridge, central heating, double glazing.. couldn't ask for anything more.... I loved the bronze one it was a Wolfsburg Demo vehicle back when it was new, i covered about 14,000 miles in one year in it and never missed a beat...really wish i hadn't sold it.. but don't have the room to keep... now lives in Ireland [/b']

    Another mk2 Gti 8v.... only cost me a few quid and it was a call from one on my mum's friends... saying you like them old VW's don't you... we have one we don't want anymore and feel bad to scrap it as its got a full MOT and 6 months tax... so i couldn't say no... but it was pink and even though it had full dealer history it was one of the worst cars i have ever had Mk2 GTi 16v one of our old Rocco's my old Cab Loved this car... had just over 280,000 when i sold it.. and from what i know its still going a few years on..

    Past vehicles... real early Mk2 GTi 8v... A reg with 57,000 miles on the clock..loads of history also had power steering.. got it as part of a deal as a project to do up... but realised it had gone to far and sold it to a guy who was going to do it up 8-) Mark 3 and Mk2 GTi 8v Sold both... the mk 2 will be racing in the VWDRC this year
