    Ok cheers. I assume paul has a flaring tool as he said he could do new pipes if nessecary so i have now brought the pipe and unions.

    Im going to replace the brake pipes on my mk3 vr6 1998.     You should coat them in wd40 when installing to help them bed in properly. This is what paul did when he fitted my coilovers and ive never had a problem.

    Can someone please confirm the dimension of the brake pipes and unions i will need to buy. Going to get hold of some incase the removal doesnt go to plan. Will get some for the rear aswell.

    Nope have to say ive never done that may have to look into this and buy some new brake pipes then. Was it easy to do and where did you buy your parts from may i ask.

    Ok mate no worries let me know when your around. Getting fed up with this weather as my drivers door doesnt open in the ice and also now my handbrake sticks on.

    Yea cant get car into it tho as theres stuff in there. Hoping the brake lines are easy to change never changed calipers before.

    Going to pick up some brake fluid tomoz ready to get my brakes on. Anyone fancy giving me a hand? Still deciding weather to change my rear axle bushes over christmas as i have the oppotunity to take the car off the road for a week
