So far I have spent around 5000 on the car including buying the car, equipment for jobs and tools, and the donor engine. I have been pricing a forged bottom end and replacing everything with schimmel parts but the reality is I have 2 holidays booked and a stag do and a wedding so I am no making tough choices [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] think I will take a leaf out of your book and recondition this engine to a good standard then I know the engine is spot on and save the forged schimmel engine for next winter project when I have less going on.

First ever attempt at welding[emoji33] what a horror story, at least it's in place and I am no longer getting sprayed in the face with mud when using the dumper truck. Looks like I need a lot of practice!!!!
