  3. Hi all, i've bought a vr with a vortech stage 2 supercharger, 290bhp & 265lb/ft torque. I'm headed out to the ring in about 3 weeks time and i've just sorted the suspension, new wheel bearings, cspare brake pads, second set of wheels with fancy tyres etc. Just wondering what are the chances of the belt breaking? Obviously the car is going to get a bit of a caning but i'm not stupid enough to try and kill it, so do i need a new belt? The current one visually looks great. 5. Just had a price from vw and they're £35+ vat each and the GSF ones are £14.50+vat each, anyone know if they're is a quality difference or will the GSF ones be ok? They'll be going in my supercharged vr

I'm currently in process of playing around with camber settings on my VR to see what works so i'll report back in a week or two what i've found to be about optimum (from past expereince i reckon it needs at least 1degree of negative on the front to start with).
  7. cheers guys i'll have a look tomorrow

  9. Hi all, i've recently bought a vr6 and don't know a great deal about them but have worked on mk2's and mk1's in the past. My rear wiper doesn't work, where would be the best place to start to check for a fault? The rear screen wash jet does work however. Cheers Nic
  10. Hi, i've got a 96 supercharged VR Golf, it's currently on standard suspension and handles like a boat and manages to torque steer everywhere, i'd like to buy something which doesn't lower it much more than 40mm if possible as it's my daily car. What can you guys suggest please? Thanks!
