  1. agreed. I was bullied at primary school, until i layed the guy on his back.. its a shame schools seem unable to deal with it before it gets to this point. top marks to this kid tho... stood his ground like chuck norris
  2. Doing the rounds on a few sites at the moment... Absolutely fantastic video of a kid who has been bullied for years finally snapping and he owns the little runt. http://funnyjunk.com/movies/1814786/Casey+the+kid+who+is+over+being+bullied/ The kid is now a hero worldwide LMAO!

LOL thats good enough for me mate! Yeh i wasn't expecting a "fun" drive so to speak. just something with a bit of poke for motorway miles etc etc. And yeh my other two will be in smaller booster seats so the car seats wont be a prob i dont think. Much appreciated fella, hope you get some rest LOL!

I have baby number 3 (and the last!) on the way, and want something a bit bigger than my Toledo... I've had the VR in the past and crave anothe v6. I have come across a passat v6 4mo, 2001, fully loaded (leathers, wood trim, xenons etc etc), only 67k 2 owners, for 2495... Are these worth a punt? I'm not expecting blistering pace but want something big enough for the family that can still pick its feet up!
  9. Will do fella. I miss the VR so much... wont be long till im back in a six pot again!
  10. brilliant news.. always dreaded going beyond 01 cars when looking at vr's and 4mo's.. This is a big help!! cheers guys
  11. Well its official, It's not even a year since my lovely VR drove off with a new owner, and I'm missing a v6 already LOL!! I'm looking to replace my current moon mileage toledo v5 with another VW, and im very tempted with a 4mo. Now I know before 2001 reg is the same tax brackets as a mk3 etc.. But, from reading direct.gov's tax page, it seems as though any 4mo registered before 2006 would be in band K (auto trader has em down as band M - £400....yikes) So is this the case? Are pre 2006 4mo's actually band K, and therefore only an extra 40 quid or so tax??
  12. lol old thread post!! cheers matey. she's doing me proud so far, lots of abuse and still pulling along nicely! I'll be back with a vr at somepoint tho!
  13. leather is spotless lol!!! Bonkers amount of car for the dosh....
  14. Have to agree with you there, I just picked up a toledo V5 to replace a very rotten VR. I'm not gonna lie i miss the VR like crazy (drilled airbox and Jetex Catback = HOWLS... But, we needed a more comfy bigger car with two kids and the tolly fit the bill. Loads of toys as standard and the engine pulls reasonably well... mine is the older 150bhp model so not quite as quick but its a lovely car, and only cost me 975!!! bonkers is correct!
  15. Easiest way is gonna be using the pics courtesy of auto trader!!! Here's my new daily hack! Bit of an impulse buy but for £975 with this spec I couldn't help it!! I must say it is growing on me loads, and its still a VR,,., sort of!!! And lots of paperwork!
  16. Well, i pick up the new motor tomorrow! vr went on friday evening..... managed to track down a bargain! seat toledo v5. full black leathers, electric driver and passenger seats, cruise control, digi climate control, cd changer, mint interior, very tidy outside, full main dealer history with tons of reciepts...... 900 quid! milleage is sky high but runs smooth as anything... well chuffed!!!!!!
  17. cheers. still looking!!
  18. haha I can imagine thats fun!! Bit big for what we need though, I'd love a 4mo bora but not many about! I shall be on the hunt next week so we shall see what comes up!
  19. That would be nice.. Only seen one but she's done 118k.. What are the 4mo's like for mileage?? Or are they as tough as VR's
  20. Well, the time has come to say goodbye to my beloved VR.. Never thought I would see the day, but two little boys later and the finances just can't stretch to sorting out the rust etc. So she will be going in the next week or so, to a mechanic who will be able to invest time and money in getting the old girl back up to par! In the mean time, I need inspiration!!! I'm looking for a four door saloon, for around £16-1700. So far I've looked down the usual Passat / Bora / Beemer / Audi route.. Even been tempted with an Alfa 156 with only 30k on the clock :-# ... Anyone got some suggestions for a
  21. ahhhhh makes sense.. cool fella, cheers
  22. what wheels are those fella? look really nice on that.
  23. HAHAHA apart from the handbrake light and sunroof, mines exactly the same. Just as i was about to buy the regulator to sort the window, the coolant pipe burst LOL. So did fix the coolant hose, but i DIDNT do any of the other stuff!!!!
  24. I have just fitted my new coolant hose at the rear of the block, and just close to it i found a little white "nipple" that looks like a small hose should clip on, i found a loose hose but it doesnt stay on well at all... just wondered if anyone knows what it does??: Damn it pics wont upload for some reason it basically sits between the two coolant pips that come out of the bullkhead, and i think should have a fabric covered rubber tube on it... any ideas?
