    hi, it wasnt plugged in ,i did so but still no spark on cranking,battery is fully charged,its getting very frustrating,ant ideas on what to try next,would a vag com give any clues

    yep using the vr loom and ecu ,the plugs can only go in the one way all the sensors are correcly connected,ive rplaced the speed sensor and didiributor with a working one but still no joy

    hi all ive done a vr6 conversion obd1 from a 16v mk3 golf ,the engine turns over but wont fire up. ive diconnected the king lead from the distibutor put in on the block and cranked the engine no spark at all but when i turn the key back to position two on the switch i get a spark,any body can help on this ?would a vag com give the answer to the problem? if there is anyone in oxford area who has a vag com

    hi mate congrats on your conversion,are you good with wiring? i have just completed a conversion in my mk3 from 16v to vr6 it turns over but wont fire up ive no spark to leads!! im in wallingford,i see your in chinnor ,anyhelp would be apprciated may be you could come and take a look for me,im desperate to get her running

    hi carl ive had no luck with that wire,do you fancy a trip down to oxford ,im desperate to get it running now .i dont mind paying the milage cost,my mate is busy banger racing and cant get it up to you, 07926082657 or 01865 340247 my contact nmbers,would be gratefull if you have the time to come and sort it out for me cheers everett.

    hi thank for your advice ,i have everything in place i shall check the red wire you have mentioned,if no luck i could get my mate to bring it up to you on his trailer,il let you know the outcome,and we can go from there.many thank

    hi all im new to the club ,i have just finished an engine conversion from 16v to a 2.8vr6 obd1 mk3 golf evereything is in place ,the car turns over but wont fire up,ive changed the speed sensor with a working one also the distributor but still no joy,does anyone have any ideas,im thinking may be a suspect engine loom can it be tested? ive exhausted my knowledge so hopefully some one can help
