    im in the process of building a install for my vr and iv decided to hide my cd changer behind sum frosted plexi glass. im looking to have the plexi glass on a motorised system so i can flick a switch and it will slide up in to the custom enclosure. its basically bout the size of a numbers plate. any1 got any ideas on what i could use to do this???

    just been on to my local vw gettin a price for these £310 each. wow. they are nice wheels but not that nice

    iv got a set of those that i stripped then repainted silver. i also smoothed the audi sign on the centre caps and painted those black. look a bit like g60s

    best bet is to sign up to mk2vr6.com and do it that way.

    im not 100% sure but i think they were an option on mk4 golf/bora. tbh theres probs other wheels which are just as nice but iv kinda got my sights on them so just have to grin and bear it. just looking to get a price from vw as i can get them from the u.s. really just want to see how the price compares. if they are about the same i will get my mate who works at vw to order them

    does anyone know the part number for the longbeach wheels? been looking for a set for ages and can never find any for sale so thinking of just getting them from the dealer. or if anyone knows of any for sale let me know. cheers in advance

    if you havent ordered these yet theres a gb running on mk2vr6 for sfs performance hoses sure its 160 inc vat plus 8.50 p+p

    tbh i never really thought of trimming the dash. was looking into a full retrim so mite look at that. was only thinking of a dash swap to modernise the interior a bit.

    is there any dash that fits the vr thast slightly easier to fit?? if i was going to go to all that trouble id fit a tt dash much nicer imo.

    basically looking at the possibilty of putting a mk4 dash in my vr. just looking a for some info on it. will it fit? what probelms can i expect to encounter? has it been done? if so is it a common mod? soz for all the questions. cheers in advance

    evo's are really good cars. interior isn't great. not as hard as you'd think to find an unabused model. would recommend stearing clear of the evo 7s as the gearbox isnt to clever or so iv been told.

    iv got a probelm with my central locking. if i lock the car on the drivers side but it wont lock the passangers side. i was thinkon maybe the pump was goosed but it only started when i had the drivers front door card off to do the window motor. any ideas what might cause this? also where is the central locking pump??

    im looking to colour code my wing mirrors and was wondering if the covers on the back just clip off?? look like they do but id rather be sure before i go pulling them off. also any tips for a novice at spraying??

    i phoned eibach not long ago looking for a 40ish mm drop and they said 30mm was the lowest they do. iv struggled to find anything lower than 30mm.

    as far as i know the only way of upgrading the calipers and retaining the standard disc size is to get the audi coupe 2pot calipers which fit with a little mod. i have a set of these for my mk2 but aint no were near fittin them yet. you would have to change the pads though to audi coupe items.

    yeah i was thinking it would be different. was thinkin bout doin it to the mk2 vr wen its finished. goin to be a track car but road legal to. so any ideas what kinda power it would produce and also what kinda costs would be involoved?

    what kinda power is possible on itb's? would prefer to keep it n/a. not totally ruling out forced induction just looking at all options

    what can i use to cover the cooler for road use?

    without having the head of it what would you guys recommend i offer for it? tbh im lookin to strip it right down. port and polish the head, new valves, uprated cams, lightened and balanced everything i can. im planning on keeping it n/a ( for now any way) what else would you suggest i do if i buy it?

    how much damage can be done to a vr6 engine if its dropped a valve?? reason i ask is iv been offered 1 really cheap because its dropped a valve apparently. im lookin to rebuild it any way as its for my mk2 track car. also whats recommended to replace when rebuilding? will do the chains for sure. cheers in advance

    not feeling that at all. much prefer the way the mk3 is done, although id never just copy that. put sum thought into and come up with a orignal design

    any pics of 1 installed?? im defo getting 1 for the mk2 but i wasnt sure if it would be worth it for my mk3 daily.

    that is uber cool. iv been thinkin of that for the mk2 when its done luckily i know a sign writer so can get it done cheap cheap. just gotta think up a nice design to go with the matt black paint and white compomotive mo's
