  1. lower top mounts are on their way from the fatherland, hopefully should have some time to mess about with her over the weekend and start the next phase ! Also should have the flocked dash finished too time depending and once I get the door cards picked up from Bungy the interior should pretty much be done

  6. Well its an obvious choice but if you sprayed it and didn't see anything ? Although they don't always show up if you have a friend with another vr worth swapping them to see, the other thing is to disconnect the maf and see if it runs better as that's another common problem
  7. Nope gash in the way the rear lines don't match the front the arches are boxy and not to my taste nothing to do with supposed scene taste bolocks etc !

A standard vr6 is a slow car, driver ability and willingness makes a big difference A type r, clio 172, s3 etc would easily be faster than a vr if driven by the same ability driver through twisty stuff inmo on a motorway it would be even or the vr might win but when is a straight line a test of a cars ability !

  13. Yes plenty big enough mate as they did 3 sizes i think so just measure length of rado - can't remember exactly but was about £25 its on the website
  14. Pete machine mart is where i got mine as said soft inside layer and seems decent and well priced compared to halfords etc

There aren't any garages around here so that isn't an option unfortunately plus i need it here so i can work on it - thanks for the advice the cover does have a soft lining to it and hasn't had any adverse effects so far but maybe your right about just treating it as if i was running it normally
  16. So the cab is having to life outside over winter due to the engine coming out and taking up the garage space, i have bought a cover for it but was wondering if there is anything else i should do ? Store it on axle stands ? How to stop the brakes rusting etc, any hints or tips welcome
  17. Maybe the wheels rubbing against the plastic inner arch on the front ?
  18. Have you tried gsf and tps mate they both sell them if no one has one you can borrow
  19. Thanks mate having some new ones made up standard position on the front and have made a bracket for the smaller size rear so i can remove it at shows
