    TT COMPS

cheers rich get some prices and get back to me folks, post up prices, i'm not afraid to advertise mine!! unmolested original TT comps would be £45 each to refurb, and you won't get a ripply finish!! i'm based next to VW in swansea
  3. hi rich, long time no hear! well i had to get a vr eventually!! i was wondering who was who, i knew you'd remember me, lol!! the g60 is ill man...i pulled here out on sunday for the 1st time in a year, she started on the button, but the fuel line had perished and was squirting fuel directly onto the exhaust manifold!! lucky it didn't catch fire, it's not insured!! lol
  4. cheers for the response guys, i can't wait to get some tidy pics done of her now, i can't take pics to save my life though!! lol
  5. she has so far curbed every set of wheels i own...except for the ones on the g60, only cos i won't let her drive it!!
  6. ...or change the mrs!! that'd be easier!! lol
  7. well, now into my 3rd week of vr6 ownership, but it's been off the road for half of that due to a split radiator. thanks to everyone who contributed on how to do the job, it only took 2.5 hours to do without a haynes manual too!! so for those of you who haven't had the joy of changing a vr6 rad, here's how it'll look - it was only when we got the car home (the mrs drove it home when we bought it) that i found the shocks were shot and it felt like i was driving a blancmange!! so a set of FK's finest highsports were sourced from rimstyle for the bargain price of £410 delivered, and i've had
  8. clarkie, you've made me feel much better about it now!! you lot must think i'm useless, but i did build my g60 cab myself a couple of years ago, i just can't be arsed these days!! lol
  9. AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm gonna sit in a corner and cry now, lol!!! cheers for the advise guys, i'd have been scratching my head for days on how t otackle this one other wise!! so why can't i just take the inlet manifold off and bring through that way??
  10. i've only had my vr for a week, and due to an oversight of a lack of antifreeze, there's now a pinhole in my rad!!!! a new rad has got to go in, but looking at the 'bay, there's not a lot of room between the inlet manifold and the slampanel...so how do i get the bugger out?? inlet manifold off job? btw, it's a '96 golf
