Hi, I do not have an adapter for my oil feed for my supercharger and have been having a lot of trouble trying to source one. Possibly my trouble is that I don't know exactly what it is that I am looking for so am having trouble describing it. Could someone give me a picture of the adapter? Where would I be able to source one? What are the thread measurements that I need? It is for a VF Engineering V9F charger. Thanks for any help available, this has been stopping me from getting on the road for some time! Gus

What does the canister actual do? I'm not too sure about it, Can I just relocate it? -
It's not so much that I want to but the set up I have bought was mapped mafless. I can't afford another map at the moment so just want to bolt straight on. I have most of the kit on but just not sure to do with the maf plug and the wires that I have been given to replace it,

I'm going to remove mine this weekend hopefully, what is invoved in doing it? Where do the pipes etc go? Do I just leave them open when I take the canister out? -
What do I need to do to run my charger mafless? What do I do with the plug that I have taken out? Cheers Gus

Yeah I think that is what it is. Doesn't look too bad though. Going to be running 8psi to start with, probably just as well to do it.

I am supercharging my VR this week and was wondering if it is worth doing the head gasket at the same time. How much of a job is this? How long will it take - I'm doing the rocker cover gasket anyway so... I have been quoted about 240 for the parts - gasket, seals, head bolts etc. Does this sound about right? Here is a picture of it just now -

haha mine is just past 77777 too. Got a pic somewhere but can't find it atm.

There are symbols above and below the display to show which info you are looking at. The last symbols looks like a sun with a C after it. When i push the button it just skips past this.

We have snow up around Edinburgh. I had fun acting as a snow plough! Grrr

Is this easy enough to get into? Any idea how much the sensor will be? I just assumed mine wasn't there as it didn't work when I got the car. There is the symbol but when I cycle through it just skips that, if I replace the sensor will it automatically come back? Or did some of the early ones not have it? Cheers Gus

Mine is the same and rather annoying with it. The clicking noise is the same too. What is worse is that it sometimes works on teh way down but doesn't come back up again. I think it is the door switch, I just haven't got round to replacing mine yet. Although I have heard it can jsut be seized so some WD40 can cure it. Unless its fully knackered. VW wanted about £50 to fix mine but wasn't having that.

I tried nitromors and couldnt get it to work too well! And do you not have to scrpae it off? Not great if you are wanting to polish after. I used a polishing kit that I bought. Takes a wee while though. But all polishing is giong to. GOt my kit from polishingkitsuk or something original like that.
