  2. Yep keeping it FWD. I seen a article in PVW this month about the new TDI 6 speed box going straight into a MK2,(dont know how it will run with the VR but i will find out) hopefully should be doing that with the clutch first then when the turbo goes in i will put a diff into to keep the power down. Turbo with diff is costing around £5k but will be worth it.
  3. If your engine has the coilpack then its ODB2, i have the same and had the butterfly worked on the TB it has made a difference but not huge amounts

  5. I think this was for a stage 2 there is stage 3 but didn't ask on the price. Seems better than the vortech and at least you get a lifetime gaurantee on the charger which no one offers, they wouldn't offer that if the kit was poor. I think am going to bide my time put a little more money aside and go for the EIP stage 2 turbo which should give me in excess of 400bhp +
  6. Thanks, keep changing my mind, some days i want to go for the stage 2 EIP turbo kit and some days a charger. Its a hard life
  7. Been speaking to Storm Developments and they are offering me a Rotrex charger which will produce 310BHP 270+ torque for £3000 all in. The charger has a lifetime warranty. What do you guys think? Should i go for it?

  9. I was hoping to drop a r32 into a rallye as a friend is offering me a r32 engine gearbox and ecu from a 05 plate car for £1500 would need to get rest of bits myself. Engine has only done 9K. Someone has offered me a rallye shell for £1000 but its missing a drivers wing. i think i may have to scrap my idead and stick with my mk2 vr6. I shall just have to keep an eye out for a supercharger. lol

  11. Guys any idea's on where the best place to get a Rallye from not bothered about engine much as i want to do a project on it. I know parts for them are hard to get hold of but what about the car itself. Would it be cheaper to import one from germany? Any advice is most welcome
  12. Thanks guys, there's loads of other mods but writing them all down would takes ages. It is a mint car. I shall try and post some pics on the weekend. Am after a G60 or Rallaye if you guys know anyone selling one please let me know. not really bothered if the engine is working or not as that would be the first thing that i would rip out
  13. Was wandering what a MK2 vr6 would sell for. Am thinking of a new project and would want to sell to fund it. 1990 mk2. 96 odb2 vr6, 89K fsh. R32 full interior. 17" custom rims. 4 pot brembo 315 on front.6 branch tsr manifold. Poly bushes all round. Angel lights in a debadged rally front end. Crystal indicators fogs and back lights. De-handled inside and outside. Custom vent in front wing. Slam panel, water bottle, washer bottle and manifold all chrome. Car had a full bare metal re-spray last year in vw diamond black, pics to prove. The list goes on and on. All reciepts. Owned for last 6 year

  15. 2.8 vr6 with AAA engine. All of a sudden when driving the temp gauge drops down from half to the last line before 70. When am at a standstill the temp needle goes back to half where it should be. The keeps going on while i am driving. I have put the car on my diagostic machine and i get a tempsender switch faulty - intermitant. I have replaced but senser at the front near the manifold but still doing it. Any idea's guys.
