  4. i have to agree there m8, sounds awesome.. just want a decent exhaust now as its to quiet... gdm in brackley said they will make me a handmade stainless system for £275...
  5. just got my vr today and thought that it revved quite high at 70mph... its doing 3000rpm, is this right? its on standard wheels and tyres...
  6. yes m8 its was an 89 2wd sierra... god i miss that car... just picked up the vr today and my first impression was god this is gutless but once on a dual carraigeway as soon as it hit 4k it flew... very impressed.. her indoors said its nice so cant be bad as shes a fussy cow....
  7. anyone help here? just want to know if there any use thats all?
  8. it was m8... her indoors took it to work once and was home 10 mins after she left and chucked the keys at me and said she aint driving it no more... apparantly she span on the a34 at 40 mph and shat herself... luckily she didnt hit anything.. shes looking forward to picking up the vr on saturday, just hope she finds it a bit safer in the wet..
  9. how much lower than standard is it? it doesnt say on advert
  10. ive got some 60mm g max springs off my mk2 golf and wondered if they will fit a mk3 vr? i know shocks wont but i wondered if i can still use the springs?
  11. so just as quick as a standard cossie but with reasonable fuel bill... only sold the cossie as it was terrible on fuel and her indoors didnt like it as it scared her in the wet as 2wd... not to reliable either...
  12. i think there the same engine... its a 92 model im thinking of...
  13. would you say there massivly quicker than a vr6? also would you own one if its cheap as a old hack for running about in?
  14. my old cosworth was i think 6.8 standard so not a huge difference in it then
