  1. How difficult is it to fit a new a/c pipe? I need the one across the bul head replacing as my valve appears to be leaking. I know the a/c needs to be decompressed so theres no pressure, but just want to know the complexity of the rest. Thanks.

  4. I am going to have to replace mine before my MOT next year as i have two quite large stone chips on the drivers side. Was just wondering if there was anything special about the VR6 ones to other mk3 golf ones? Thanks.
  5. looks about as dirty as my car does after every week of normal driving :-p looks like it has a piddly bit of mud up the side.. can't have got stuck that badly!!?? It was a lot worse than this, i took the photo the morning after. During the evening i drove the car about 3 miles through monsoon rain, then left it parked up in monsoon rain. So, yeah, it was filthy!!!

    FLOODS!!!

Bloody hell. I have been watching the news and it looks like its not going to get any better. I really feel for those caught up in it. I feel really lucky that im thousands of feet above sea level now.
  7. I dont want to be pulling my car out of a field, driving through flood water and i dont expect it to be damaged. Else i would have bought a Chelsea Tractor. I drive my car 200+ miles a week and live in a rough neighbourhood. There's nothing wrong with wanting something to be proud of. So in answer to your question, my car gets driven- LOTS .
  8. Yeah, but i reckon there must be more foreigners that drive over here, then what we do in other countries!
  9. We have meets every 2 weeks, has only been set up for about a month, but were a friendly little bunch! Lol. Anyway, here some mobile phone pics i took.
  10. What a transformation that is, looks awesome!
  11. 22nd July- This weekend i had to go up to Basingstoke for a wedding. Not a problem i hear you say. But, unfortunately with all the flooding i was a little sceptical about going. Anyhoo, i did go and i wish i hadnt. On the way up a stone cracked my windscreen (drivers side), then when i got there all i saw was flood signs everywhere! The weather was fine @ the time, so we made our way to the cottage we were staying in, it was down the most neglected road/lane ever! I couldnt go above 5 mph for about 1.5miles. Go there, went to the wedding then drove to the reception to find we had to park in a

    FLOODS!!!

Been watching the news today regarding the floods in the midlands/south of the country! I was just wondering if anyone had been affected by them. Being in Plymouth weve had glorious sunshine for 3 days, but im making my way upto Basingstoke tomorrow for a wedding :S
  15. After having to buy a whole new set of bulbs too, as the old ones were a different size (H4 instead of H7) i have fitted the new lights, and i love them. Changes the front end completely!
  16. That rear end looks crap, which is shame because thats all most people will ever see! That Red Devil one is rapid.
  17. Im not 100% sure which one i have, but put it this way, If it was any bigger then it wouldnt fit in the engine bay. Its really close to the belt tensioner as it is!
  18. £90!!! Thats a bit steap, im sure i paid £67 for mine. Regardless, its still a great addition to any VR6! I love them!
