No, I went for a clear set of front units in the end. to be honest they were brand new units and are still not the best a a real pain to fit due to poor mountings and fit. They do look good though. Same as these units: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FRONT-INDICATORS-FRONT-FOG-LIGHTS-VW-Golf-3-MK3-V03a_W0QQitemZ110324891808QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item110324891808&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Except i got them cheaper as someone had bought them but never used them. You thinkin of getting a set? Cheers

Yeh the blades are great bikes, had an R1 previous to this but not a patch on the blade. Mine is a RR2 some say the best one they ever made, it is a lovely bike. Cheers

Well cheers for the comments, personally i like both the black and mulberry that the highlines come in. This one was on offer at a good price so i took it. Mates got a black highline and if given the choice i would still take the mulberry one. Went to get paint today at halfords gave the code and the buggers would not do it as it contains lead! L4CP eh lead! Managed to get it at another supplier though so hopefully get my new grill and get it painted at the weekend.

Anyone used Kwik-fit for re-charging there air con? If so what like? I am in the process of getting my system up and running and am awaiting the delivery of a drier unit which should arrive today or tomorrow, and just want to know if i am as well to go to them. The worry i have is that the system is totally empty and will require a charge and oil which i am sure the machine will do, but will they simply look at the system try the valve and say no sorry its knacked? If they pressurise the system then hopefully it should all be ok. Whats the thoughts?

Its not that hard you can reach it from the top under the bonnet thats how i did mine, then simply flushed it through with a hose and plenty water. Takes about 3 ltrs of coolant and 7 of water to fill the system and G12 the red one is the coolant to use, since its an aluminium head! Also its really worth for the little money changing your water pump as this was causing me big problems as all the fins were missing see http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?248787.0#post_270804 this is what mine looked like, again an easy enough job to do when the coolant is drained. What

Cheers Gordon, Is it the crank case breather valve that Pete talks about? Do you happen to know what its called or what i would ask for?? Also any ideas what the ford part number is?? Many thanks
-
Hi Folks, Well managed to break a plastic breather piece that connects to the end of the rocker cover and is connected onto the air intake pipe. Have looked on vagcat and it does not list the part number although on the broken bit its 021 129 101 can someone tell me what its called and if eurocarparts have them or is it to the stealers?? Cheers

I am about to overhaul my air con system, earlier i had removed the air con radiator when i was trying to find the cause of my high oil temp (water pump) and i have a replacement to fit. I think the compressor is good but i do have another one what should be renewed and if i plug it all together will an air con specialist be able to oil the system and gas it up?? Never had air con and dont know much about it so any advise is much appretiated. The hose to the radiator has been open for a few months now i am hoping the system is all ok. Also i fitted a new heater matrix a few weeks back and had

Cheers for your thoughts folks but after todays events i think its the alignment and camber thats wrong.
-
Here is a pic of what they are talking about. Its just behind the passenger wheel and does look like it should be there with some sort of gromit on it.
-
Yeh looking at the car its obvious there is a problem. If i set the drivers wheel straight and then look at the passenger wheel its pointing out to the left instead of straight. Also i put a spirit level on the drivers and passenger wheel and the drivers wheel seems out slightly more at the top than the passenger on. So car is going in for Mot so i will get them to do the alignment at the same time. Could simply the tracking cause this??

Well i fitted new tyres today onto my RS8 alloys, have fitted 205/40/17's and there is no rubbing feels fine. Big problem is the old wheels i took off, there were fitted with new toyo proxies only around 1900 miles ago. Today when they came off there is extreme wear on the insides of both tyres more so on one side to the point its through to the wire. This would explain why the car feels so loose at the front and wanting to slide as there is hardly any tread left. Now the car had coilovers fitted before i got it so i am thinking that they have never had the camber adjusted. Also its not the
