I have a fault code reader (bought of egay for £30) and it does what it says on the tin! But for a more thorough explaination of fault codes buy VAG COM and a cable from rosstech.

I really don't know what/how? :-*It was mapped/r/roaded at the same time and place I just cannot afford or be doing with this cack at the min :-( Things are generally cack atm, and this is just the icing on the cake (st) I just need my car back because it's +o( without her.

Yup the car was chipped and remapped and r/roaded in March of this year, but she ran fine. The previous owner was a lady and the car has full vwsh and 60k. The mechanic has also commented on the engine saying "It's internally the best/cleanest one he has seen in a long time". Neither himself or the other two independant inspectors that have both viewed the car for over a hour can conclude what the problem was that caused this? All the valves seem fine and the injectors seem fine too.I never drive her hard until well over 20mins after starting, i do drive her hard on occasions but nothing exces

:-( As some of you know my VR's sick +o( I found the problem! piston no1 is in pieces, No one i know or the mechanic or anyone from VW can tell me what has caused this?? So if anyone has a clue wtf has happened please let me know Cheers

I had mine tightened after 2 days of settlement, they where the same as yours : ) -
I nearly lost my hand in a industrial accident 4yrs ago And was on the sick because of there lack of health and safety! They sacked me :@ I had been there 11mths and 23days, i took it to my solicitor AND if you have not been employed for 12MTH'S you aint got a leg to stand on ! +o( I lost my career my job/bird/house/car and full use of my right hand! and only got £20k compensation +o( So tread carefully ! and make sure you have a written copy of ALL info including phone calls/conversations/expenses/dates/times etc.. But good luck to you Regs and dont' let the ba*tards get you down R

Erm me too for pushing her past 165mph (on a private road for all you legal eagles) at 32oc and blowing a piston -
