mine does it too but only when i change gear while caning it, and also on cold start up.. i defo think its over fueling. (mine that is)

i rekon it'll go wen u change the bearins by the sounds of it m8, but chech it aint ur diff bearings, which are the same symptoms as the thrust bearing but u can hear it through driving alot more

u looked at any of the pullys on the aux belt??

lol, in a garage they wudnt completly remove the cv, they have a spider like tool to stretch the boot over the c.v so its relativly quick to do at a garage

its really not thay difficult to change the pump m8, and as 4 the c.v, its 6 spline bolts to the gearbox, and undo the 3 ball joint bolts to the wishbone and slide out the ball join then pull the driveshaft away from the gearbox.cut the old rubber away, now there is a sorta washer with a split in it holding the c.v on, u need to open this up and pull the c.v off of the spline, then put ur new greased up boot on , but if u take it to a garage they will prob do it for nxt to nothin??

its a piece of cake changing the slave m8, not sure on price, but its 2 bolts to the gearbox and one to the clutch fluid line, just be sure to bleed the system after renewal!!

im not an expert ant mk2 conversions, but my cousin just done 1 for a m8, and he used the mk2 subframe, but i have seen ppl use the mk3 sub too

well i have the rong thermostat in (90 degree) wen i shud have a 70 degree stat, so my fans kick in at around 100-110, so i wud assume so shud urs???

i thought that the fans wud only kick in when the water temp gets too high??

i just got some castrol magnatec 10W40 u think that will be ok??

i am gonna try some diff oil, i used some halfords 10-40 last week to top up wen i was low out and about, i totally 4got bout doin it. i got some magnetec and engine flush so im gonna completely flush it out

they did it when he bought the new ecu m8, he sent them the old one to go with it!

its done bout 80k m8, and is absoloutly fine, im based in southampton m8
