Hi all,i fitted a ported 2.9 TB to my 2.8 VR on Sunday.all was well and the throttle was very snappy and noticed a good improvement!.monday noticed it felt like it was sticking on slightly when foot is taken off the gas pedal.reset throttle body-still the same,checked all linkages and sprayed lubricant.checked on vag-com,no fault codes.the car pulls really well,ticks over at 600ish rpm,am i missing something? or does it need a remap,any help from u VR expert?cheers.

vr mofo,ive got toyo t1-r"s on the front on my VR,the grip in dry and wet is awesome,really good off the mark and high speed cornering,good rim protection if your not into the stretched look!.totally trust them in wet or dry and yes i push the car hard(on a private road of course!)

had the same on mine,put a new fuel filter on it(smell at back of car)and put some jubilee clips on the fuel lines where they join the fuel rail.had no probs with fuel smells since.hope this helps.

Get someone to sit in the car and select gears,you can then look under the bonnet and see where the cable moves on top of the gearbox.theres a 13mm nut which often comes loose which holds the cable,retighten and make sure you can select ya gears(trial and error).hope this helps as same happened to mine.

just fitted it,a few mods were needed(lol)but the difference is amazing,good mod.anyone who is thinkin of fitting one can pm me for help or advise.cheers.

Got a sebring back box and powerflow from cat,removed suitcase and have had it on the car for 4 years with no probs at all,slight deep drone at 50mph,cant fault it!,it was fitted buy the powerflow rep who was over from S.Africa who was doing the training(lucky for me).got it fitted in bolton(powerflow)who know their vrs(mk2s+chargers).spot on noise(not too loud).all depends on the fitter with powerflow.
