you will need to swap the engine manifold, throttle body ,ecu, loom, you'll also need the immobiliser loom etc A lot of hassle for 10bhp! From experience its not worth it although mine was a swap from obd1 to obd2 but my obd1 was dead!!
As said he can't of been trying, My mate had an m3 e36 and it was "dangerous". They make Vrs look very average!! I couldn't wait to get out of it...death machines.
Prices for mk3 vr6 will only drop further as the mileage and age rises. Mk4 R32s have lost 5k in a year?? Only the cleanest, lower mileage Vr6s can fetch better money and they are like rocking horse sh1t!!

just thought i'd give the fully comp boys the heads up, got a right crack down my windscreen courtesy of a lorry and what appeared to be half a brick. Anyway red star equity put me through to Autoglass, they were fine about it, but i said I wanted a genuine VW windcreen and not some generic tosh. That'll be an extra 47.41p sir and you'll need to get a number and name from red star to get authorisation. Now have a genuine windcreen on order £70 excess. Not bad eh. No claims unaffected. Cheers mr lorry driver because my old windscreen wasn't a genuine one :):)
I wouldn't bother unless you change cams and or decat and have a decent exhaust as it makes no difference at all without cams. makes a nice noise though
