  1. Wheel bearings tend to "hum" as apposed to grinding. If it is a wheel bearing, you should notice the sound goes away when you turn right/left as the weight shifts onto the other wheel. I had a front wheel bearing replaced about 2 months back. Jimbo
  2. Had a milltek twin jet system fitted 2 weeks ago. well pleased with it. Its pretty quiet at low revs, nice and subtle, but when you open up, the VR6 sounds awesome!!!

  4. Just had a milltek twin jet fitted on mine, same as antera309's. Very pleased with it, subtle, but still sounds nice when you floor it!!!
  5. Could be the Aux belt tensioner?? Mine is on its way out and is rattling, doing it next week.
  6. Having used the "phirm" myself in the last couple of weeks, i must say the service is second to none, a very friendly bunch and they certainly know what they are talking about. Trust them 100% with my car. you won't be dissapionted. Jimbo

  9. Hi all, This is going to sound a bit funny but anyway, when sitting inside my vr6 with all doors and windows shut, it sounds like there is a hoover in the car!! I can hear this sort of hoover/huming sound, now it could of allways been there, but I cant remember it being there before, I have only had the car a couple of weeks, and had it serviced last week. When I accelerate the sound gets higher pitched, and lower pitch when braking/stopped. Could it be the fuel pump?? Any ideas??? Cheers Jimbo
