Thanks shail. I think the noise from this pump is a whirr. I'm talking about something which lowers engine speed by 3-400 rpm so it's drawing heavy current. Any more ideas? Thanks Stephen

Hi I wonder if anyone can help identify a noise (like a motor vibration) which I get from my 4Motion Golf? It seems to happen when stopped, after she's been run for a while - in traffic, for example. I don't think it's a cooling fan but it could be, I suppose. Could it be anything to do with the aircon (Climate Control) system, maybe? Thanks for any feedback. Stephen

Hi all I want to service my Mk4 4motion but can't even find the spark plugs! Does anyone have any servicing literature, please? I have a Peter Rusek but it's too old now. There doesn't appear to be a Haynes for this. Help, PLEASE!!! Thanks Stephen

Hi all Anyone experienced constant 'grinding' sound from front end? I suspect wheel bearings problem. How can this be checked, please? Any other things to check? Thanks a lot Stephen
