    Even better is coming up behind a Cabrio sportscar a Rallye and coming off boost - they fairly jump out of their seats when the charger vents !!!!

    cheers, Chuffed with it, esp now new alarm is in and working !!!! He's certainly done a bit of work to it - don't really want to change anything either.

    Anyone know anyone who can restore The original TT Chrome look alloys to the same look as factory ? I had my las set of polished rims done by spit and polish and they came back diamond cut !!!! Cheers, Rob

    Personally I'm staying with the boneshaking ride on 17's and making sure I have good dental cover on the health plan !!!!! Hehe !!!

    yep - seeemed a nice bloke who had looked after it but was a bit peeved he didnt return my calls about getting the alarm code - anyway all history now - and have had to fork out for a newe alarm to be installed!! It defo sounds awesome - I have to drop it down a gear when going under tunnels jus for the sound !!!

    airbag light doesnt come on and passenger side def not connected - I wonder if this has anything to do with the corrado engine conversion ???

    Was swaying in the Corrado direction, but thanks to yourself , have seen the light and gone for a Mk3 !!! .......With a Corrado engine !!!

    Definitely - The torque is awesome - and it has the Corrado 2.9 in !!

    Just bought SixSpeeds VR6 on TT Alloys. Have owned 3 mK2's and a Rallye, and after the charger went decided I needed a daily driver that is much easier to source parts for !!! and have to say VR's are awesome. The only downside is it came with a nice fault......The alarm wiring was so badly bodged it actually made the car LESS secure - All sorted now with a shiny new alarm though, and I am starting to enjoy it...after being feeling ripped off initially !     New Alarm - £300 After owning it for about 2 hours !!!!

    Could be a bodged Clifford alarm install. Just ripped mine out and binned it - wiring and relays were patched in all over the place. Windows now go down AND up !!!! 8)

    Clifford Concept 300 alarm on a VR. The system winds the windowes downa nd unlocks the car after about 20mins (Nice feature), and the continually cycles the central locking motor in the boot (but curiously the lock pins don't go up and down !!!!), and the window motors are still trying to wind down the window even when its down (I get a clicking sound) Have I inadvertantly put it into some kind of 'Valet Mode' ? Or should I just rip it out and put in a Toad that actually works ! Just spoken to a Clifford Dealer who says it's the car and not the alarm and that there wasa VW recall on Windows
