hey peeps long time to speak recently my car has been running wayy to noisey (lots of rattling on start untill warmed up) and its idling to high so this morning i took my car to the garge where my brother works and had a bloke there take a look over it, hes meant to be one of the best mechanics in the area and what he dont know isnt worth knowing ive been told :@ . Anyway as soon as i started the car strait away he said its a chain problem, altho he cant be sure if its the guides but he did say the chain is deffinately loose, they are to busy this weekend and next week so i cant get it done

mileage is pretty low.. (i think) only 74000 the chains aint been done as far as i know but its not them thats the noise is coming from its the general engine, what oil is best for these cars coz ill do an oil change this weekend coz they probably put some shit oil in when they serviced it just b4 i bought it ~ -
my car has been running fine for a couple of months but ive notice more recently that when i first start the car up it sound quite like a diesel untill it warms up then its fine and nice and quiet, i dont know what oil is in the car as it was serviced when i bought it. any1 elses do this or is there something wrong with mine?? !dodge

all is reletavly ok now ive got it started..i pinched a battery out of my dads campervan to give it a jumpstart and it started up , when i disconnected it it kept running but a bit lumpy but ill put that down to the battery thats in it has killed itsaelf completely so the 12 hrs it was on charge last night was a complete waste of time lol ~ off to get the most heavy duty battery that will fit in the tray

k fitted the battery back on and... nothing still the same problem.. any chance sum1 could put up a pic where the starter motor is and the earth strap coz im working in a tiny little garage with no lights and no use of a manual

yea thats exactly what it does it ticks, ive got the battery off now and it seemed a bit low so i put some distilled water in there and now its on charge so hopefully it will b ok when i put it back on tomorrow,

hmm dont recall leaving anything on ill try and give it a jump start later when other people get out of bed lol its not the clocks thatflash or the milometer its the small red lights underneath them

its not just the handbrake light its all the middle 1s on the dash that flash on and off. also when i reactivate the alrm on it sounds like a motor keeps running behind the drivers side rear light which didnt do b4

ok parked my car up in the garage yesterday and was no signs of problems.. today i go to start up the Vr and the lights come on and go out as normal but when i do the final turn of the key the engine dont even turn over and the handbrake light etc just falsh really quick. is nothing there at all. any ideas?

hey guys my viper induction kit turned up today so i went to work fitting it, had it done in about 15 mins, it was so easy to do. as i expected there isnt any noticable power gain but the throttle response seems a bit better. there are 2 very nice plus sides tho... 1. basically it looks the nuts and 2. the noise! my car is 100% standard except this induction kit and when u put yr foot down over 3k revs it sounds like a Subaru but even better, its awsome!! cant wait to get my full system fitted now !amazed

i picked up my first vr last saturday and im just as impressed with the car as u seem to be , but i came from a 1992 xr3i soft top!! (hairdressers car i know) i couldnt find the right words to decribe this car, but like u im very chuffed, they r solid cars and my foot seems to have got slightly heavier

ok ive spent the last 3 and a half hours washing my car, then i decided it to give it a showroom finnish with a good polish, but u know how much i got done ?? the bonnet , passenger side door and rear pannel. lol after over 3 hrs doin that i was freezing so i gave up for today but i took a few pics which i will put up in a bit :@

ive seen 1 of those bonnets on a stadard nova 1.2, it also has 1 of those crazy ass jap style front bumbers unsprayed and the rest of the car was standard, oh apart from the chrome hub caps with spinners. these r the sort of ppl the bonnets appeal to , personally id stay well clear [ Edited Tue Jan 25 2005, 04:32PM ]
