put my coilovers on and have changed the tracking ruffly although i'd like to sort it out professionally. Can anyone recommend a good place to get my tracking and camber etc set somewhere near to worcester in say 70 mile radious? Thanks alot! !lol

that's pretty interesting bout the 60cm! will give that a try. that's asuming standard sized wheels etc? i've got standards on there at the moment. Will have to see where that puts my sump as it has already had a bit of a beating! My fk highsport seem a bit too bouncy/soft at the front. They don't seem to have designed them specifically for the vr6? bought them from venom and they use the same coilovers as for gti's etc. although they knew i had a vr... Surely this the vr6 is significantly heavier than the 2.0 litre lump in the gti's for it to have it's own suspension setup? seems to be go

argh great, thanx for that, will give it a go now!

Vr monster you there ?! I noticed in your picture of your front arb that the rear one is on the axle beam? have you got a pic, where's it go?! %-6 thanx again

Just putting my coilovers on my car and i've also bourght a pair of eibach arbs. Where does the back one go? is it in the rear axle beam, i need to replace the bushes anyway in the beam so though i'd do them at the same time. Has anyone had expreience with either?! !dodge Can it be done relatively easily? Thanx very much

Love the car!!! !amazed Looking forward till the time when my green dragon looks half as gd as that! I've been on the look out for rims for ages. I want the standard look of the bbs, but the oem off vr6's just don't look quite right on the mk3's. The original bbs on mk2's look great! why could thaey do it with the mk3's?! ~ anywho, yours are great, can you give me lots of info on them? new, 2nd hand, expensive, where from etc!!? p.s. i think that the smoke lenses are great, doesn't draw attention and makes the bumper look smoother, crystal lights etc are played, they'll go out off fashion

I'm getting some fk coilovers, i planned to get the highsports and some uprated arb's probably eibach (unless anyone can recommend some other makes?) Or i could get the fk ajustable koni ones and forget the arb's? It's gotta be one or the other. Not spending on adjustables and arb's. It feels like a boat at the moment, and i want firm suspension and the ablity to corner without bricking myself when i go fast into them I'm stuck in making a decision..... What do you recon folks? :?

Is that grey leather interior? have you a bigger photo? i've got a green one too with standard cloth but thinking of some nice leather, is it standard? Looking gd on those rims...... go lower! :@ -
Wot's your trick then?! fill your tyres with helium?!

I'd like to go pretty low I'd rather not roll the arches if i can avoid it. Is there any room for spacers at all when i drop it. I'll soon know when i fit the coil overs but would be easier if i brought them at the same time!

where's a gd place to get these jom grills not inc. e bay?

Hi, I'm ordering some coilovers and i've got some oem vr6 steels which are 15" 6/1/2J 8) presumably the same as the original bbs's. with 205's When i drop it down i want the steelies to fill the arches better, so using spacers would be the deal. Does anyone have exprience using spacers with oringinaly sized and offset wheels? Can i go any wider b4 i start to scrub? The front wing should be easier to roll cos it's a single skin, but the back has 2?, wot are the best ways of going about this if i need to for the phat look! or is there a spacer sized that will avoid rolling the arches ?

I'm seeing your point of view, i'll give it a whearl, although i won't be expeting too much! I'm willing to travel if the jobs a good one so aberdare won't be too far, and i'm sure i'll injoy the drive !lol . Do you think I could have some details of the place in aberdare just incase the job does go tits up!?! %-6 could be handy if I need some work in the future to. Thanks for your help!

I would totaly agree with you and i'm tempted to give him hell and to get him to do it again, ~ but i really don't think he has a clue about spraying, and would hate for him to mess it up anymore! He said he had sent of the fuel cap cover for paint matching, so it should be the right colour. I can only assume that he doesn't have the right equipment/knowledge of spraying then to make a mess of it!! I shouldn't of gone to him in the first place but had heard he was good from various people, i will have to admitt defeat and try and get it done properly by someone else who knows what they're

My vr had been reversed into and needed a new wing which has been resprayed, its a '96 dragon green and the new paint job on the wing is noticably a different colour, it doesn't look as deep. Is this due to the original paint fading with age and the new paint showing it up? the guy who has done the job hasn't faded the new work in at all, you can see where he's masking taped over the bumper! should you be able to notice the new paint job? there are a few other areas that i'd like to be sprayed up like scratches and stone chips if not the wing again if it can be better matched, can anyone r

both relays replaced and nothing would the alarm have anything to do with the fuel system?
-
ok, replaced 109 voltage stabilieser relay and no luck, out off interest what does it do? Next move is to change 167 fuel pump relay, thanks everyone
-
ok cheers, i will try that tomorrow at work! fingers crossed

My vr has been running well since i had it on the road, about month ago, then after work I come to start it and it doesn't! I took the fuel pipe off and there doesn't seem to be any fuel coming in, the engine fired with a quick spray of easy start, pointing to lack of fuel. The car has done bout 55,000 miles and showed no sign of dieing on me. When the ignition is on these a wherrring sound before starting from the engine bay, presumably a fuel pump? Tried to listen to the rear pump which seems to be silent. I've checked the fuses. I don't have the fob or key for the alarm which is an orig

There's a sport caddy!?! bet those are hard to find, what do they have in them to make them a sport?
-
Hi everyone, I'm on the hunt for a mk1 caddy cos they're seriously cool and i can cart my bikes and stuff around without having to try and fit them in my vr6 (also gd excuse to start a collection ) Does anyone know of any uk clubs for caddys so I can find classifieds and info on what to look for when buying one, cos i know very little about them, or if anyone has any useful pointers ?! I'm thinking of putting a 16v and gearbox in so it needs really to have a gd shell above mechanics, will the engine and gearbox fit in easily? Cheers!!!
-
yup that's the one, cheers dubloke i will go and see them for a quote and compare to supersprint price :? If i go for the supersprint, think i'll start off quiet and see what it's like before i go balls out and get the link pipe, car needs to look the part with some mods before it sounds the part and draws too much attention!! needs dropping on the floor first 8)

supersprint exhaust sounds good! will look into it, cheers
