[sunroof drain tubes]

so, i'm guessing that if your never gonna get a water tight seal and if you put your hand up behind the sliding cover and feel the edge of the sunroof and it's damp its normal,

it's just that when i got the car and jet washed it it leaked slightly, this was i think due to the fact that the s/roof was slightlly lower on 1 side, i altered this and checked when it was raining and was damp...(like only a couple of drips)

i have never felt the need to check the mk2 &| so was unsure of what to expect,

thats what i was wanting to do but someone has chopped the plug off leaving a mass of wire,

can someone explain the purpose of these, where they are and how they work, as i can't understand the need for them if the sunroof is shut.....thanks

when i open sunroof with electric switch it only opens half way, either tilting up or moving back, but when use the allen key on the motor it opens fine,

any ideas?

just wondering if anybody has got a scan/link to a wiring diagram for stereo because the wiring in my new addition leaves a lot to be desired, and i've got a kenwood screaming to be fitted, also whats the best type of connectors to join the wires ? spade or them bullet things (free from work!)
