    I have always wondered if my 1994 VR6 (coilpack model) has been down on low end power. On the weekend I met a bloke who has owned a 94 VR6 with the same spec as mine (standard engine apart from a replacement K+N) , he also thinks that my car lacks low end power as well. The car idles well, runs cleanly though the rev range and pulls well over 3800 rpm but lack low end. Its always run like this since I have owned it (a year). Any ideas on what it can be? CAT sensor? Intake sensor? Spark plugs?

    A few weeks ago I ordered a Patec suspension kit (dampers and springs) form tmtuning.com (Sent from USA to New Zealand) It arrived last Monday so I had to wait till this Saturday (today) to fit it. Anyway I told them the spec of my 1994 VR6 Golf, giving them the VIN number etc. When I pulled the front suspension out I found that the spring top is wider on the Patec spring than my factory spring so now the suspension cant be fitted till I get a new top hat for the spring. Can these be bought by themsevles? or do I need to get a whole new top mount as well? The factory top hat has a number stam

    Hi guys, Im in New Zealand and am going to get a KW damper and spring kit sent out from Germany (I dont need coilovers as its work car, my Mk1 GTI is my track car). Anyway my VR6 is a 94 and Ive heard that in August 1994 that the front springs in a VR6 changed sizes, my car was 1st regestered in November 94 and it takes some time to get a car out from Germany and I dont know how long it would have sat on the dealers showroom floor therefore I cant pinpoint what side of August 94 my car was built. What I need to know is that if they send me the earlyer or later spring kit, what ever the case ma

    The switches to turn the lights on are on the outside the light ie not the close side to the windscreen. Is your car the same as this?

    Dam! I dont have any lights in the back Up front there are 2 lights in the 1 unit, Drives side the reading light, passengers side has the open door light. Strange!

    Im taking a 5 hour night trip this weekend with the mrs and she is wanting to read! Anyway my question is that the reading light is on the drivers side and I was interested to see if anyone has turned the light 180 so that the reading light is on the passengers side?

    I never said that I wanted to drop my car 120mm, just stated that the Supersports can go that low. Has anyone used them before or knows anyone that has?

    Has anyone use Supersport Coilovers or know anyone that has? I see that Venom Motorsport sell them, they are German made and are at a good price (395 pounds) also they can drop 120mm!

    Has anyone used Jamex Springs in a Mk3 VR6 (mine is a 94), can anyone tell me how low there springs go? and if I can use them with just standard dampers. Thanks Nik

    Hi guys In regards to coilovers has anyone tryed Supersport? Ive read that they drop 120mm and only cost 395 pounds a set.
