Why is synthetic associated with being thin ?! - you can get thick synthetic (for expample Mobil 1 Motorsport 15W/50and thin semi synthetic (for expample Magnetec 5W/30).......
Its the viscosity rating that denote how thick the oil is not the fact its synthetic.

Fully Synthetic could be slighly 'thin' for an older engine..
Did you change your plugs? Make sure they are nice 'n' tight, if there is a lose one that could be bouncing around.

Get in touch with Scorpion Direct. I've heard they are pretty helpful.

My mate's just bought a 1.8t Beetle, Revo'd it up and is a true street sleeper. He reckons it handles better than his previous mk4 Golf Anniversary.

I have a Jetex. No complaints.. very quiet compared to my previous scorpion system which was shite.

What kind of 4wd system did the MKIII Syncro's have? Maybe this would have been better?

You should take a trip down to Birmingham City Centre on a Saturday night dude. Then you'd see some seriously crazy racing.

I love it. I love lining up against the true Jap boys (i.e Japanease Origin).
They really take their cars seriously, and whilst you are queing for the next blast, they'll all stand around sniggering in Japanease at your pretty much standard looking VR6.
After I've blown one of them into the weeds, it brings even more satisfaction to rejoin the queue see them all standing in silence like someone just died!

Yeah at Pod.. I think the grip there is really shite too.
My best time and I still lost by 0.10 to a Mk4 20v Turbo.
I was gutted, but I read this month's PVW and saw the guy I raced at the latest thrash, he's spent a f00kin fortune!
He said afterwards he also ran his best ever time against me.

It's er.. Decorative Spray Paint you can buy from Wilkos for £3.99 a can.
The heat shield and plastics don't get so hot you can't just spray em.. YOU CAN. Easy peasy..
