  1. Any more info on this would be great as I too have the same problem on 3dr VR TIA
  2. Cheers Tony, just as I thought tbh. I think a seat base out a scrapper is the way to go. Anyone have a seat base lying around.
  3. I would appreciate that very much. Part itself doesn`t have any number on it btw.
  4. You would think it would but it doesn`t. I have had two different dealers try and both couldn`t be arsed in the end even trying to help. Also it is a one way trip sort of item so removing one from a scrapper will be awkward also.
  5. Anyone help me find a replacement for the following part for my 3dr VR6. Dealers are not very helpful and cannot get the part I want,I have tried very hard. Here is part in question. The white part should have two prongs not one and this results in seat falling back itself and you can`t sit on it because of this.. which fits in here... . other side... . which is part of the knob.... . No part no. is relevant ,it should be part of 14a but isn`t.... Can`t find one in any scrappies near me either. Any help or even better the part itself would be great. TIA. Dave.
  6. Just thought that I would pass on some info,if you don`t know this already, that as the Ford Galaxy and the VR6 engine is one and the same. Which you probably as I did knew anyway but my point is the price of parts.I had to replace the breather valve on my VR6 and went to VW dealers for said part. "That`ll be £77 please" said parts bloke. "That`ll be right" said I. So on the advice of someone from CGTI forum I went to Ford dealers showed the guy an ETOS pic of part and got it identified. "That`ll be £25 please" A slight difference to say the least. So maybe others can add their list of part

  8. Yes it does need lowered and that is next on the shopping list. The lights are votex and it has a leather interior and is in immaculate condition(a credit to its former owner) I shall read through posts to get some inspiration and post pics of a lower version. Cheers, Dave.
  9. £70 dealer charged me the other week to change the rear pads on VR6 which I thought was reasonable considering.
