  1. Just wondering. Ive seen some stuff in Halfords, its a little bottle of electrically conductive paint which is used for fixing rear windscreen heating elements. I can imagine it being very ugly on a rear windscreen, but ona mirror it cant be seen. Do you think this will work? How do you get the glass off?

  2. ok,

Got the bracket made and fitted - then the damn thing doesnt fit!!! ~:( If you look at the fitting instructions in the Guides section, the filter there has a bright blue fitting onthis side. Mine is black and exactly the same as the other piece in the kit.... Any ideas as im really annoyed!! ~:(

  3. Hi all. Ive read the guide on fitting the BMC CDA kit (thanks for that) and just wondered what people bolted the bracket to. Do you just put it on one of the 3 bolts that are on the 'thingy' to the right of the airbox... Sorry about the techy language there ;)

  4. well, just got back from the garage. They say the movement is in the sealed coupling at the back of the engine bay. Have to go back another day to get it taken apart but he says its safe and its not the collapsable column and it hasnt had a bash. Phewweee... bet the coupling costs about £1000 though...

  5. I am planning on the Origin B2, as it has modules rather than 1 unit. Means you can leave laser detector in the car wired in, and GPS ariel positioned somewhere, and just remove the console if you need. Can you hard wire the power in a road angel? That would annoy me if you had to always use the cigarette lighter socket. Origin B2 can be hard wired...

  6. Fixed the airbag light problem, the bulb had burnt out. Steering wheel is only moving a tiny little bit, not that youd notice unless you were trying it. Im pretty sure it hasnt had a bash - had an advanced AA check done and they say its cool. Have booked it into a local garage tomorrow morning to check it out.

  7. Hey there. Right, it doesnt move up down left or right. It moves in and out... On non-airbag models i know theres a bolt that holds the wheel onto the shaft. Is this the same with the airbag? If so, how does the airbag wheel come off??

    Thanks

  8. Hi all. Ive just been to get a belt for the Highline. Its the big ribbed belt by the airbox. Is this the only belt on a VR6? VW says £62 for it!!! Anyone know if this one from eurocarparts is the same? Its their ref 202440660...

    Thanks
