    I had a ram air kit on mine but had to remove it as the car intermittantly cut out,something to do with air mas meter.

    Update-got new gasket from stealership after a 2 week wait.The new gasket is metal and when i took the inlet manifold off the old one was a paper one and it ripped !! Anyway job done now no leaky cam cover.

    Maybe i could save thr old one but i cant take the risk,if it breaks ill be without the trusty motor for 2 weeks--not good

    VR6 INLET TO INLET MANIFOLD GASKET---ANYONE HAD TROUBLE GETTING ONE OF THESE ?? I WANT TO REPLACE MY WEEPING CAMCOVER GASKET AND TO DO THIS YOU NEED TO TAKE THE INLET OFF,HENCE THE GASKET, I WOULD SAY QUITE A COMMON JOB !! BUT GERMAN AND SWEEDISH DONT KEEP IT ,EUROCARPARTS SAY THEY CANT GET IT, :? MY LOCAL MOTOR FACTORS CANT GET IT !dodge THE MAIN STEALER HASNT GOT ONE,VW UK DONT KEEP IT SO IT HAS TO BE BACK ORDERED FROM GERMANY !!COME ON VW ~

    Mine recently went after being noisy for 3 years !! the bottom blew off so i had to call the rac. The pumps are about £80 new but i found one on e bay for £40 the week before mine gave up--lucky or what! !alien

    I had bilstien streetline kit fitted to my vr-what shite &| the car was better with shot original suspension.Now changed to wietec springs and g max dampers,a million times better,they've been on for over a year with no probs. 8o)
