If you disconnect the airbag without disconnecting the battery first (or reconnect the battery with the airbag still disconnected), the light comes on and stays on until you clear the fault code from the system. c4mbl 1 Posted May 28, 2006 Report Share Posted May 28, 2006 You can buy a bridge type thing that cancels out the airbag light. It goes into the fuse box i think and bridges two connections. You can get the on ebay for a couple of quid but im not sure exactly what they are called. I need to get one for mine too.Just read that its called a resistor and the guys on here got them form ebay for a few quid. You can also get them from VW, they fit in behind the dash and stops the airbag light staying on. Link to post Share on other sites
