stuey 0 Posted May 9, 2006 Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 I believe that the ODB1 has a distributor and the ODB2 has a coilpack like in the pic. So if a 94 car is ODB1 it wouldn't have a coilpack like that, which is located on the right hand end of the head. Link to post Share on other sites

Nerih 0 Posted May 10, 2006 Report Share Posted May 10, 2006 m8's, a coil pack for a vr6 will work on any vr6 engine with a coilpack (regardless of what odb it is). The issue is that a few early model odb1 engines had distributors (not coilpacks), however that was changed before the odb2's started rolling after 1995. Link to post Share on other sites
