Devildub_06 0
Stupid question time, I know there are three service codes according to another thread on here, as I didn't get a handbook for the car, just wondered if somebody would be kind enough to tell me what the codes were and what they mean.Ever since I bought the car, it's read in00 upon turning on.Many thanks. spindat45 0
I think you got all the important ones Devildub but if you have done bits and pieces here and there then it shouldn't break the bank Highline. If you need to know how to reset the service codes yourself i have the details. Let me know.
spindat45 0
BTW, there is also an "OEL" service indicator which appears in the same space. This is the oil service indicator. This can also be reset without any diagnostic equipment
dubberVR6 0
Hmmmm. I'm kind of tempted to send it in for the big service, just to get everything checked out, although, changing all the fluids, plugs and filters, could be done by myself. Tricky one. I think I'll give VW a call and ask how much it is. That should have some effect on my decision!!!

dubberVR6 0
Spoke to the service receptionist who was really useful.... not. She said that it is a regular 20k service, and it will cost £150 inc vat. Thats not including plugs or filter. Think I'm gonna do the service myself, reset the code and then spend the saved cash on a rolling road tune!!!
jb9999 0
A sensible move. The plugs vw use are £10 each with VAT., there's £210 straight away, then oil and filters. Probably be nearer £300.
