vr200 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Report Share Posted April 10, 2006 i think i found the soloution to my problem, thats replace the cams!after startin to get alot of vibration throught the pedal while accelorating, opened the bonnet and it sounds like deisel, and its defo commin from top end! dubloke 4 Posted April 15, 2006 Report Share Posted April 15, 2006 tappets do just that when worn, tap, tap, tappety tap. a definate knock is something more sinister i believe, and should be investigated post haste! i have a tappety head atm and it is defo that, no postmen in my engine bay fella! get it seen to pronto!! dipped 0 Posted April 17, 2006 Report Share Posted April 17, 2006 wouldnt use engine flush as it ruins the seal around valves etc throughout the life that the oil makes,mine is the same vibration feel in accelerator cams rattle when started but im changing them in may aswell as chain tappets etc Link to post Share on other sites
