six appeal 53 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Share Posted March 23, 2006 My VR came with a 3 bar one, so got a 4 bar one from VW. No idea of part numbers as my mate worked at VW and got it. richievr 1 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Share Posted March 23, 2006 simon - you are spot on - i've just found out - very late model golf vr's had a different pressure reg - part number 037 133 035C...later model vr's have a 3bar fuel pumpearly model ones have a 4bar pumpthe regulator is different accordingly (obviously)if your chassis number is wvwzzz1HZTW360000 or before you will have the higher (4bar) regulator already...cadders - you have the higher pressure one already . . . So if the regulator keeps the system at 3 bar the pump must provide a higher pressure.Can you find out for sure please Richie? Link to post Share on other sites
