If your OBD1 engine is knackered, you can fit an OBD2, but you will need the engine wiring harness and ECU, plus relays etc. as well as the complete engine with all ancilliaries.

If your engine is OK, it's probably not worth doing.

Na.. it ain`t mine, but the other half`s new car. As you can guess it`s obd1, and because of mr. schrick, i have a spare inlet manifold, and also a spare air mass meter and throttle housing in the garage.

If it was fairly simple, then i may have concidered it, as the power is noticable different between the two cars..(pre shrick)..

Oh well.....
