mtopple 0
I seem to go through a set of tyres every 8k, I don't drive too hard but I drive a lot, I currently have a set of falken 512 which are better than what came with the car hankook ventus sport tyres but do I need to replace this often??I am getting the tracking and alignment done as I think it is way out and looking at getting the camber done also. Wanted to know if anybody else has had any similar problems?
Earwig 89
I used to use Yokohama and they were very soft and so used to wear very quickly.I think the best tyres I have had for wear AND in fact grip have been 1. Goodyear Eagle F12. Toyo Proxes
katconcarne 0
yeah i second that my toyo proxes were hard wearing, i really rate bf goodrich tyres also especially for getting traction.i had the same problem with going through tyres on my 1.4 back in the day, sorted the tracking and adjusted the camberand they were alot better! dubloke 4
what sort of wear are you incurring? is it all over wear or on one or other side of the tyre? this will tell you if its too much right foot action or a problem with alignment on the car itself!
