Bucknills 0
Hi all. Just joined. Two weeks ago had to have the fuel relay and sensor replaced on my M reg VR6. Apparently that was the first time for this car which is amazing as I've heard that these normally need replacing every 5 years. Now the car is sick again. The engine has started to die on me especially after its warmed up and I arrive at junctions :? (and always on a roundabout - how come!!!). So it's back in the garage again today. Just waiting for the bad news. The replacement of the fuel relay and sensor set me back over £300 including labour.

Bucknills 0
Cheers for that vr6turbo. I'm based down in Northamptonshire but thanks for the offer. Much appreciated. The garage I use here had it on a diagnostics system and couldn't find any fault. The only thing they could come up with (which happened to another VR6) was that the ignition key was faulty or the barrel. So I'm using the spare key and no problems this morning on the way to work. !lol
Zonda_ 0
What could be faulty with the key? I'm having a similar problem but mine cuts out particularly when turning corners which leads me to believe it's connected to the power steering.
Bucknills 0
That's just what someone has told me as it is mostly round corners. Perhaps something is shorting. Another sign apparently is that the light bulbs keep needing to be replaced as well. Only one every few days though!!
