  1. Thanks to everyone. We found out what the problem was. Need a new ABS pump - £600!!! Ah well, the joys of motoring I suppose. Thanks again.
  2. tom the problem is not how to bleed but the fact it will not I dont know if there is a valve you have to release or something to do with the ABS
  3. tell me that im stupid I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BLEED MY BRAKES BUT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN DO I HAVE TO RELEASE OR REMOVE SOMETHING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
  4. That's just what someone has told me as it is mostly round corners. Perhaps something is shorting. Another sign apparently is that the light bulbs keep needing to be replaced as well. Only one every few days though!!
  5. Cheers for that vr6turbo. I'm based down in Northamptonshire but thanks for the offer. Much appreciated. The garage I use here had it on a diagnostics system and couldn't find any fault. The only thing they could come up with (which happened to another VR6) was that the ignition key was faulty or the barrel. So I'm using the spare key and no problems this morning on the way to work. !lol
  6. Hi all. Just joined. Two weeks ago had to have the fuel relay and sensor replaced on my M reg VR6. Apparently that was the first time for this car which is amazing as I've heard that these normally need replacing every 5 years. Now the car is sick again. The engine has started to die on me especially after its warmed up and I arrive at junctions :? (and always on a roundabout - how come!!!). So it's back in the garage again today. Just waiting for the bad news. The replacement of the fuel relay and sensor set me back over £300 including labour.
