john1980 0
Hi My heater matrix went about 5 month ago, 4 hours work and me and my good old dad had changed it. But where everything got wet the foam that was on the moving door’s had disintegrated. I didn't think this would hurt as just moved the flow of the air to the feet, face and window, but the car is cold. I drive 30 min's to work in a fridge is there any way I can block the cold air from the outsideThanks
Eat this 2
airlock in the water??
kilokilla 0
so are you saying that heaters are not blowing hot if so you should be able to adjust the matrix so it just blows hot if its not working from switch you have to get under dash and play with controls on matrix itself but sometimes flaps break in matrix housing and you may need to replace
john1980 0
Hi The flaps (door) sound like they are moving, but not totally sure on that so will try getting under the dash. If it is an air lock is there a bleed valve anywhere? Thanks
Buzzark 0
If it's blowing through and directing correctly, the heater matrix isn't getting hot. It's either airlocked, or more likely, the valve is closed and not connected as a result of removing the matrix.Never done one on a golf so don't ask where to look, but it sounds like a faily normal scenario.
