SankysVR6 1
did you put it on the vagcom first to see why the light came on in the first place. As this would have told you which sensor is at fault or if it's something else causing it.

SankysVR6 1
have you had any work carried out recently on the rear brakes. If not i would sugest you get it put back on the vagcom to see if the fault has cleared.
kil2002 1
ive had the pads replaced at the back, but these were done at the same time as the sensor, im going to vagcom it and see what comes up.when u replace the sensor do you have to clear the fault or does it clear by itself? kil2002 1
things dont look good. im getting a code saying the hydraulic pumps faulty, i did a search and sounds like quite a few people had this problem, im going to clean the sensors, can anyone advise me how to remove and clean the sensors?thx
Petesvw 0
The sensor is held in by an allen bolt, and they have a tendancy to round on the inside if your allen key is not in right, which is of course a major pain in the arse.Allthough mine didn't round off, the bolt itself sheard, causing me a major headache, just a note of caution if your tackling it yerself mate! stuey 0
Yeah, my bolt head sheared off then needed drilling and retapping for a new one. I can't remember what size tap and drill it is, but if you are going to try yourself i would find out and have the bits handy!

kilokilla 0
make sure to check the bits the sensors get signal from i.e rings on back of hubs if they are dirty and grotty or rusty it can stop sensors from getting correct signal.
