Thankfully caught it early so no skimming required. Cost me £500 from local VW dealer and took a week to get the car back. Car only has 72k on the clock.Fired a letter away to VW UK expressing my disappointments and concerns , received a reply (but no cheque !amazed ) and they advised me that the head gasket problem - quote "is not a known inherent issue with the Golf VR6", how reassuring. !ill Link to post Share on other sites
