Guest SexiVR6
I get lag on every gear starting on 2nd and up when I hit full throtle it lags for maybe 1 sec and it goes. When I say lag I mean the RPM slow down its like there is not enough power or something. The car this is happening on is a 02.5 VR6 24V. Im running an intake, catback exhaust and a GIAC chip. fritzenberg 3
vag-com is diagnostics software, take the car to a vw garage and get them to hook it up and check for any fault codes
VRmonster 1
is the car a later vr6 like 95 onwards, as there is a thing called drive by wire lag, which basically means that the throttle pot isnt turning fast enough when the pedal is pressed so feels realy unresponsive. try removing the throttle sensor and gleaning it with carb cleaner. may just be grimed up. Nerih 0
you say your running an intake? is that a custo manifold or an induction kit.i understand the 24v's have a flap equivialant to the shrick flap too (totally irrelavent).i would check there isnt a crack in your inlet piping. since pre throttle pressure is quite useful and is lost if you've got holes in your intake piping. on a N/A car its good to have a bit of pressure on the throttle body (pre throttle).
