antera309 3 Posted October 18, 2005 Report Share Posted October 18, 2005 That's correct, no mods are required to fit them to later model (oval indicators) mk3s.For early type mk3s, the opening pin inside the door needs to be bent slightly in order for the handle to work reliably. Mines one of the last to be produced (97/98) and I had to bend the inner clip to get them to work 100% EVERYTIME!They seem to work ok, but they have the tendancy to lock up from time to time and this can lead to having to break the doorcard in extreme circumstances to get the door open!
