antera309 3
The procedure & type of pipe to use depends on whether your car has air con or not. Does it?
jezmoz 0
no air con
jezmoz 0
problem solved , cheers ultimatetune
antera309 3
It's easier without air con stuff getting in the way. The carbon cannister does not have to be removed. craggsy 91
Its so easy without aircon....i have had to take my drier off as cross threaded but thats another story. There is so much room down there without air con gubbins
jezmoz 0
for anyone else who wants to know how to fit a cool air feed ,I moved the carbon cannister to the other side using 1, 8mm tube and 1, 10mm tube extension using hose connectors, the carbon cannister now sits in the right hand corner instead of the left and a nice hole is left to put the cold air feed pipe down which was secured into place
Nerih 0
yep thats exactly what myself and ultimatetune did to mine, decided not to remove it, but to move it over to the standard locating holes on the passenger side of the car.

shail 0
Top stuff, didn't think about moving it to the other side. I guess I'll give it a go - any more info or pics of it relocated?
Craig 0
yeah it was surprisingly easy' date=' even for a novice like me cheers mate[/quote']Did you take the bumper off to do the job?
jezmoz 0
have a look for yourself and you'll see how easy it is, the hardest thing is finding the 6 and 8mm tubing and the connectors!!! the duct hose can be bought from halfords (ripspeed aluminium hose), it's a bit wank and rips easy and has to be manipulated to fit, or you could pay
Craig 0
And you took the bumper off?
jezmoz 0
yes i took the bumper off, the carriage that the cannister sits in pulls up to remove it!
