jezmoz 0
what should i expect to pay? I'm toying with the idea of just spraying the bottom bit white and leaving the bars black? what do you think, or should i code all of it?
stockers 1
i would spray it yourself, just take your time with itget the spray from your local dealer. it comes in a pack with a lacquer,
jezmoz 0
by when and dry do you mean sand paper?? does it have to be wet?
stu h 0
imo they look better leaving the bars black on lighter coloured cars.
jezmoz 0
i think it might look nice with black bars, I was hoping i'd get away without spraying but the guy on the phone said it's a different black to the bumper so he said it'd be better to spray the bottom bit the same colour. stockers 1
gotta be VERY WET !!! use loads of water or the wet and dry paper will scratch the paint.
dubloke 4
dont forget to use plastic primer(i prefer to use filler primer as it covers small imperfections) otherwise the top coat will just start flaking off! and always "key" the plastic with some 2400grit prior to applying any paint at all! spray the lower strip and leave the grill bars black, looks good on white cars! dubloke 4
if you get the paint from vw, and follow the hints above, you'll get a perfect match yourself for about 20 quid all in!

Ciaran 4
oh painting yourself is always a mistake.thats why i get my mate who has a heated spray booth to do it for nothing. all i have to do is buy the paint. did the bonnet both wings and the front bumper and splitter all for less than
