I'm in desperate search of a VW Vento VR6 2.8L AAA engine 174HP tuned chip

PS: i have one for a "021906258BQ MOTOR PMC 02612032111267358018" and it runs like crap (worst then stock)

and one "021906258A MOTOR PMC 02612004961267357205" not even the engine start with this one, maybe i'll edit myself the stock one looking at that 2 roms that i already have, but i need a proper software for that engine chip

i have fixed that , the server was keysensitive.

anyway that 2 roms i have and do not work on my car i can give them to someone that have an engine with that code maybe on them they will work one is tuned by ABT and oane i do not know by who is tuned

200SX: This is the only VR6 Owners Club around, Given you only posted your question a little over an hour ago, you aint done all that bad Give people a chance to come on and read the posts, there are some very experienced people who come on these forums.

If have any other stock VR6 rom dumps, I'd be very interested in obtaining these.

PS: i must add that i'm located in Romania/Europe and the car is buyed from Germany (i know US.... versions of VR6 are a bit diferent)

and btw does anyoane knows were i can find an OBD2 interface schematics (how to buit one) i need one for flashing Golf 4 ECU (there are plenty of schematics on the net about diagnostic tools but i canot find one suitable for flash tuning)

if you try finding a vagcom compliant guide to building a odb2 interface, then it should be flash compliant, the guides are on the net, ive seen a few when looking for my odb1 cable.

as for your chip tuning question, i don't know m(any) people who could 'tune' a chip for a mk3 without it seeing a rolling road, how can you ge the timing/fueling map's correct (guess??), although there are a lot of chips on ebay you could probably buy cheaply, and take a copy of their roms.

mk3 golfs are not flash compilant as far as i have been told by the ppl that chipped my car (my car is a 1997,and they stopped making them in 97)
